AAI Recruitment 2026: Airports Authority of India (AAI) was constituted by an Act of Parliament and came into being on 1st April 1995 by merging the erstwhile National Airports Authority and International Airports Authority of India.
The merger brought into existence a single Organization entrusted with the responsibility of creating, upgrading, maintaining and managing civil aviation infrastructure both on the ground and air space in the country. It is a Schedule a Mini Ratna Category – 1 PSU company.

Salary/ Pay Scale:
- Senior Assistant: Rs. 36,000-3%-1,10,000/- PM
- Junior Assistant: Rs. 31,000-3%-92,000/- PM
Eligibility Criteria for AAI Recruitment 2026:
Senior Assistant (Electronics):
- Diploma in Electronics/ Telecommunication/ Radio Engineering.
- Experience: Two years (2) of relevant experience in the concerned discipline.
Junior Assistant (HR):
- Graduate
- Candidates who qualify CBT will appear for the Computer Literacy test in MS Office.
Junior Assistant (Fire Services):
- 10th Pass + 3 years approved regular Diploma in Mechanical/ Automobile/ Fire. (OR) 12th Pass (Regular Study).
- Driving License: Valid Heavy Vehicle Driving License OR Valid Medium Vehicle License (issued 1 year prior) OR Valid LMV License (issued 2 years prior).
- Physical Standards (For Fire Services)
- Height: Male – Not less than 167 cm | Female – Not less than 157 cm
- Chest (Male): 81 cm (Normal) with minimum 5 cm expansion.
- Vision: 6/6 Distance Vision without glasses. Near Vision N5. No Color Blindness.
Age Limit: 18 – 30 years as on 6th December 2025.
Selection Process for AAI Recruitment 2026:
For Senior Assistant (Electronics):
- Written Exam (CBT): 2 Hours duration. 70% technical questions, 30% General Knowledge/Aptitude.
- Document Verification: For shortlisted candidates.
For Junior Assistant (HR):
- Written Exam (CBT): 2 Hours duration. 50% subject-related, 50% General Knowledge/Aptitude.
- Computer Literacy Test: Proficiency test in MS Office (Qualifying nature).
- Document Verification.
For Junior Assistant (Fire Services):
- Written Exam (CBT): 2 Hours duration. 50% academic, 50% General Knowledge/Aptitude.
- Medical & Driving Test: Shortlisted candidates undergo medical checkup and driving test on Light Motor Vehicle.
- Physical Endurance Test (PET): Qualifying nature. Includes 100m Run, Rope Climbing, Pole Climbing, Ladder Climbing, and Casualty Carrying.
