- BE/ B.Tech in Environmental Engineering/ Civil Engineering (with specialization in Environment) or equivalent.
- Internship/project work in environmental field preferred.
Job Description:
To support the environmental management activities of the organization, ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements, and contribute to sustainable and eco-friendly operations while gaining hands-on training and experience in environmental engineering practices.
- Environmental Compliance & Monitoring Assist in implementation of Environmental Management Plan (EMP).
- Support in monitoring emissions, effluents, noise, and waste management as per applicable regulations.
- Maintain records of environmental parameters and prepare daily/weekly/monthly reports.
- Support in preparation of statutory compliance reports for CPCB/SPCB/MoEF&CC submissions.
- Waste & Resource Management Support in implementing solid waste, hazardous waste, and wastewater management systems.
- Monitor and suggest measures for waste reduction, recycling, and resource optimization.
- Assist in inventory management of chemicals and waste as per legal requirements.
- Environmental Audits & Inspections Participate in internal environmental audits and inspections.
- Assist in preparation for external audits and regulatory inspections.
- Help in implementing corrective and preventive actions for non-compliances.
- Project / Site Support Support Environmental Officer in execution of site-specific environmental initiatives.
- Assist in development of environmental awareness training modules for workers and staff.
- Monitor plantation, green belt development, and dust suppression measures at site.
- Documentation & Reporting Maintain and update environmental registers, permits, and consents.
- Prepare documentation for ISO 14001:2015 (if applicable) and other sustainability reporting requirements.
- Prepare presentations and MIS reports for management review.
- Learning & Development Actively participate in training sessions, mentoring programs, and job rotation to gain exposure to all EHS functions.
- Stay updated with latest environmental regulations, guidelines, and technologies.
