- Education: Engineering Background only from Electrical, Mechanical and Civil.
- Experience: Fresher (Only 2025 Passout who received Degree Certificate or Provisional Degree Certificate)
- Notice Period: Immediate Joiner
- Excellent Communication Skills in English
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform inspections of fibre optic installations (cables, splicing, terminations, etc.).
- Verify that installations meet industry standards (e.g., ITU, TIA/EIA, ISO/IEC).
- Conduct routine field checks and audits on-site.
- Ensure adherence to company/client specifications and best practices.
- Perform OTDR (Optical Time Domain Reflectometer), power meter, and light source tests.
- Analyze and interpret test results (loss, reflectance, splice quality).
- Ensure test reports are accurate, complete, and stored properly.
- Verify acceptance testing is completed before handover.
- Prepare QC inspection reports and daily progress updates.
- Maintain test reports, checklists, and punch lists.
- Document non-conformances and suggest corrective actions.
- Ensure all work complies with relevant safety and quality standards.
- Monitor contractors work and ensure compliance with method statements.
- Review material quality and ensure proper handling and storage.
- Coordinate with field teams, subcontractors, and project managers.
- Assist in the resolution of technical issues related to fiber installation.
- Support training and mentoring of junior QC staff or technicians.
- Participate in project kick-off meetings to understand scope and specifications.
- Support project closure activities including final QC checks and documentation.
- Ensure all deliverables are completed for client handover.
- OTDR (EXFO, Yokogawa, Viavi)
- Power Meter and Light Source
- Visual Fault Locator (VFL)
- Splicing Machines (Fujikura, Sumitomo, etc.)
- Fiber Inspection Microscope
- Strong understanding of fiber optic principles.
- Familiarity with telecom project workflows (especially FTTH/FTTx).
- Attention to detail and analytical thinking.
- Good communication and reporting skills.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD, GIS tools (optional but useful).
