Bank of Baroda Recruitment 2026: Bank of Baroda (BoB) is an Indian state-owned bank, founded in 1908 by Maharaja Sayajirao Gaekwad III, with its headquarters in Vadodara, Gujarat. As one of India’s largest banks, it offers diverse banking and financial services, including loans, deposits, credit cards, and wealth management. BoB has a substantial domestic network of branches and ATMs, along with an international presence in over 25 countries
Bank of Baroda announced in May 2019 that it would either close or rationalise 800–900 branches to increase operational efficiency and reduce duplication post-merger. The regional and zonal offices of the merged companies would also be closed. PTI quoted an unnamed senior bank official as stating that Bank of Baroda would look to expand in eastern India as it already had a strong presence in the other regions.
