BEML MT Recruitment 2025: Bharat Earth Movers Limited now known as BEML, is an Indian Public Sector Undertaking, with headquarters in Bengaluru. It manufactures a variety of heavy equipment, such as that used for earth moving, transport and mining.
BEML incorporated in May 1964, and commenced operations on 1 January 1965. It was wholly owned and operated by India’s Ministry of Defence until 1992, when the government divested 25% of its holdings in the company. BEML is Asia’s second-largest manufacturer of earth moving equipment, and it controls 70% of India’s market in that sector.

Eligibility Criteria for BEML MT Recruitment 2025
Candidates must hold the following qualifications to be eligible for the respective posts:
- Management Trainee (Mechanical): A First-Class, full-time Degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized University or Institution.
- Management Trainee (Electrical): A First-Class, full-time Degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized University or Institution.
- Important Note: Candidates with degrees from allied branches of Mechanical/ Electrical, including Electronics Engineering (for the Electrical post), are also eligible to apply. However, the computer-based test will strictly be based on the Mechanical and Electrical engineering syllabi.
Age Limit
The upper age limit for applying for the Management Trainee position as of September 12, 2025, is:
- Maximum Age: 29 years
- Age relaxation is applicable for reserved categories as per Government of India guidelines (5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC-NCL, and 10 years for PwD candidates).

Remuneration & Service Bond:
- Stipend: ₹40,000/month during training; Pay Scale: ₹40,000-1,40,000
- Benefits: DA, HRA/Accommodation, Perquisites & Allowances, Provident Fund, Gratuity, Performance Related Pay (PRP)
- Service Bond: 4 years (including training); ₹2,00,000 liquidated damages for breach; ₹4,000/month recovered during bond period
Selection process for BEML MT Recruitment 2025:
- Computer-based test (Mechanical or Electrical domain, plus reasoning/ English) – 2 hours
- Pass Marks: 60% (SC/ST/PwD: 55%)
- Shortlisted candidates: Personal Interview
- Medical Examination (as per company standards) after final shortlisting
- Final selection based on written test and interview merit
