BVFCL Recruitment 2026: Brahmaputra Valley Fertilizer Corporation Limited (BVFCL) is the pioneer in India in production of Urea from Natural gas and the unit started production w.e.f. 1st January, 1969. The Company was formed on 5th April 2002 after hiving off the Namrup Unit of Hindustan Fertilizer Corporation Limited.

The Company has played a crucial role in the development of this backward NE region and making available urea fertilizer to the local farmers, which is produced from cheap and locally available domestic natural gas.

Educational Qualification:

Production: Full-time BE/ B.Tech Degree in Chemical Engineering.
Mechanical: Full-time BE/ B.Tech Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Instrumentation: Full-time BE/ B.Tech Degree in Instrumentation/ Electronics/ Electronics & Communication/ Electronics & Tele-communication Engineering
Civil: Full-time BE/ B.Tech Degree in Civil Engineering.
HR & Admin: Two years full-time PG Degree or diploma in PM&IR/ HRM/ Labour & Social Works/ MBA with specialisation in PM&IR/ HRM
Finance: Graduate with a pass in CA/ICWAI

Notes:

Candidates must possess the essential qualifications of Full time BE/ B.Tech/ PG degree/ PDM/ MBA with 60% marks (55% marks for SC/ST/PwBD candidates) in the respective discipline from a UGC/AIU recognised University/Deemed University or AICTE-approved Autonomous Institution.
For the Finance and Accounts discipline: Candidates should successfully pass (CA/ICWAI Final) from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India or the Institute of Cost Accounts of India.

Selection Process for BVFCL Recruitment 2026:

The selection process will be based on an Online Test & Personal Interview

Online Test:

Only the candidates shortlisted on the basis of their performance in the Computer-Based Test will be called for an interview
The online test will have two parts: Discipline-related and Aptitude-related.
Medium of Test will be in Rajbhasha (Hindi) and English.
The duration of the test will be 02 hours.
The total number of questions will be 150, of one mark each, out of which 100 questions would be from a mix of the course curriculum of the qualifying degree of relevant discipline and 50 questions from General English, Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning and General knowledge/Awareness.
There will be no negative marking for the wrong answer.

Personal Interview:

Based on the performance of the candidates in the online test, eligible candidates will be provisionally called for a personal interview tentatively in the ratio of 01:5, i.e. 05 eligible candidates for 01 post.
In case more candidates obtain the same mark in CBT under a 1:5 ratio, then all the candidates obtaining that particular mark shall be considered for the interview

Final Selection:

Merit list of suitable candidates shall be prepared based on performance in the Computer-Based Test (CBT) as well as a personal interview, with the following Weightages:
- Computer-Based Test – 85% rounded off to 02 decimal places
- Personal Interview – 15% rounded off to 02 decimal places
- Total – 100%
Candidates are required to qualify in the Computer-Based Test and thereafter again in the Personal interview separately with a minimum average of 50% marks.
