Job Description:
- Attends and actively participates in training and workshops.
- Contributes to and participates in evaluations and assessments to measure progress and skill growth.
- Observes BIM modelers and company operations to gain hands-on experience and conducts research to better understand the business.
- Supports the planning, design, and documentation of construction projects by assisting BIM modelers in the completion of daily tasks and projects.
- Prepares or assists in the preparation of construction drawings of basic complexity derived from intelligent models, CADD, redline markups, charts, tables, and/or electronic formats such as PDF and verbal instructions.
- Applies standard techniques per the firms graphic standards and any other project specific requirements.
- Uses information from vendor prints, catalogs, technical manuals, etc. in the preparation of intelligent models and construction drawings.
- Performs basic engineering calculations using accepted formulas and references.
- Other duties as requested.
