Central Bank of India has officially released the recruitment notification for 275 Specialist Officers (SO). Candidates can apply online starting from 28 February 2026 until the closing date of 23 March 2026.

Eligibility Criteria (As on 31.01.2026)
- Technical Roles (IT/Developer): B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science/ IT/ ECE/ E&TC/ Electronics or MCA from a recognized University.
- Risk Manager: Relevant degree in Risk Management or equivalent.
- Taxation / CA: Chartered Accountant (CA) or Postgraduate in Taxation.
- Age Limit:
- Scale I: Maximum 30 years
- Scale II/III: Maximum 35 years
- Scale IV: Maximum 45 years
- Note: Age relaxation applies as per Govt rules (SC/ST: 5 years, OBC: 3 years).
Selection Process & Exam Pattern
Candidates will be selected based on a 70:30 weighted score system:
- Stage 1: Online Examination (70% Weightage)
- Pattern: 100 Objective Questions | 60 Minutes.
- Stream Knowledge (60), Computer Knowledge (20), Banking/GA (20).
- Penalty: No Negative Marking.
- Stage 2: Personal Interview (30% Weightage)
- Shortlisted candidates (1:3 ratio) will be invited for the Interview (100 Marks).
