CSIR NAL Recruitment 2026: National Aerospace Laboratories (NAL), is India’s first & largest aerospace research firm. It was established by the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) in Delhi in 1959.
Based in Bengaluru, India, NAL employs a staff of about 2500 of which 350 are full-time R&D professionals. NAL is equipped with the Nilakantan Wind tunnel Centre and a computerized fatigue test facility. PAT-I: Bachelors degree in Engineering or Technology in Electronics and Communication/ Computer Science/ AI-ML from a recognized University
PAT-I: M.Sc in Chemistry/ Polymer Tech from a recognized University OR Bachelors degree in Engineering or Technology in Chemical Engg from a recognized University
PAT-I: MCA OR Masters/ Integrated Masters in Computer Science/ AI-ML OR Bachelors degree in Engineering or Technology in Computer science/ AI-ML/ Electronics/ Electrical/ ECE from a recognized University

PA-II: 3 years Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
PAT-II: Bachelors degree in Engineering or Technology in Aerospace/ Aeronautical/ Mechanical from a recognized University or equivalent and 2 years experience in Research and Development in Industrial and Academic Institutions or Science and Technology Organizations and Scientific activities and services OR Masters/Integrated Masters in Aerospace/ Aeronautical/ Mechanical Engineering or Technology from a recognized University
PAT-II: Bachelors degree in Engineering or Technology in Aerospace/ Aeronautical/ Mechanical from a recognized University or equivalent and 2 years experience in Research and Development in Industrial and Academic Institutions or Science and Technology Organizations and Scientific activities and services OR Masters/ Integrated Masters in Aerospace/ Aeronautical/ Mechanical Engineering or Technology from a recognized University Note: Candidates must have qualified CSIR -UGC/ICAR/ICMR NET incl. lectureship/assistant professorship or GATE OR Those who have qualified National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments like DBT/DST or equivalent and/or their Agencies/Institutions.

Age Limit: Max 35 years (as on walk-in date); +5 years for SC/ST/PwBD/Women, +3 years for OBC.

Selection Process for CSIR NAL Recruitment 2026:

The selection for Project Staff positions at CSIR-NAL will primarily involve an interview. Depending on candidate numbers, a written exam might be conducted to shortlist individuals.

Performance in the interview will be the main selection criterion.
A written exam or other criteria may be used for shortlisting if a large number of candidates appear.
A panel of suitable candidates will be created, valid for one year from the date of notification of result, or till the completion of the project, whichever is earlier.
Empanelment does not guarantee engagement; utilization depends on project availability.

Registration and document verification will be held from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM on your chosen interview date.

Bring original certificates and one set of photocopies for educational qualifications, experience, and caste certificates.
Carry a copy of your Aadhar Card or any government-issued ID.
