DRDO CFEES Recruitment 2025: The Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) is an agency of the Republic of India, charged with the military’s research and development, headquartered in New Delhi, India. It was formed in 1958 by the merger of the Technical Development Establishment and the Directorate of Technical Development and Production with the Defence Science Organisation. It is under the administrative control of the Ministry of Defence, Government of India.

DRDO CFEES Recruitment 2025 Instruments Research and Development Establishment (IRDE), is devoted to research, design, development and technology transfer in optical and electro-optical instrumentation primarily for the defence Services.

Eligibility Criteria For DRDO CFEES Recruitment 2025:

Educational Qualification:

Pursuing a Graduate/Post Graduate in Engineering and Science, full-time course in the respective discipline from a recognised Indian University/Institute
Discipline:
- Environmental Technology
- Textile Technology
- Electronics/ Electronic & Communication Engineering/ Electronic Telecommunication/ Electronic & Instrumentation/ Embedded System Engineering
- Mechanical/ Automation Engineering
- Fire Technology & Safety Engineering
- Chemical Engineering/Chemistry
- AI&ML/ Data Science
- Computer Science & Engineering / Information Technology

Duration:

The duration of the internship/project work training will be for a period of 06 months.
A Completion Certificate will be issued to students after completion of 06 months from the date of joining the internship program.

Notes:

The student should have a good academic track record with 85% & above marks or ≥ 8.5 on a scale of 10 (copy to be enclosed) from AICTE/ UGC approved colleges/Universities.
Principal/ Director of the institution should provide the request letter to highly deserving meritorious students only
Brief Bio-data <300 Words highlighting achievements.
Award/Professional membership:- if any, to be mentioned.
Minimum 8.5 CGPA or above continuously maintained in all previous semesters

Selection Process For DRDO CFEES Recruitment 2025:

Selection will be based entirely on merit basis
Shortlisted students will only be notified about the joining procedures and regarding the undertaking forms and the indemnity bond to be filled by them and by the head of the institution.
Selected students will have to submit the following documents at the time of joining

Documents Required:

No Objection Certificate (NOC) from college authorities (in original) on college letterhead, mentioning that the student will be relieved for internship training at CFEES and that the student will be present for a minimum of 15 working days in a month for training.
Police verification from the local police station. Acknowledgement received from the Police station to be submitted at the time of joining (if selected).
Undertaking for adherence to the Indian Official Secrets Act,1923.
Undertaking that interns will follow the IT rules and regulations applicable to the Ministry of Defence and its amendments thereof.
Selected students need to provide the bank details for the transfer of the internship amount.
Medical fitness certificate from authorised medical practitioners holding atleast an MBBS degree.
At the time of joining, the student is required to bring the Aadhar card (in Original) along with the college ID card for verification.
They should also submit 03 passport-size photographs at the time of joining.
All previous semesters’ mark sheets in the original for verification should be brought.
Original documents will be returned immediately after verification.
Any other documents, if required, will be communicated to the student at the time of selection/joining.
An indemnity form will be provided by the college as and when required by CFEES.
