Eligibility Criteria for Festo Recruitment 2026:
- Completed studies in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a comparable technical field
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in setting up and operating complex manual or automated test systems
- Experience as a test engineer in environmental testing is an advantage
- Hands-on knowledge of programmable controllers (PLCs such as Siemens or Beckhoff) and peripherals
- Proficiency in PLC programming according to EN61131-3, especially in Structured Text or Python
- Basic understanding of industrial fieldbus protocols such as PROFINET, EtherNet/IP, or EtherCAT
- Experience using ALM tools like Jira, Doors, or Codebeamer
- Familiarity with software testing principles; ISTQB certification is an advantage
- Excellent written and spoken English communication skills
Job Description:
- Align with test managers and analysts on test strategy, plans, schedules, and technical details
- Prepare, plan, and execute test cases using ALM systems in internal or external labs
- Perform and supervise tests including climatic, endurance, vibration, EMC, and IP protection
- Evaluate test results, document findings, and generate detailed test reports
- Qualify components with Profinet and EtherCAT interfaces
- Setup and manage manual and automated test benches
- Investigate customer complaints, reproduce failures, and support root cause analysis with quality teams
- Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary and international teams
