Eligibility Criteria for Grid India Recruitment 2026:
Educational Qualification for Graduate Apprentices:
- Electrical Discipline – Full Time Regular BE/ B.Tech/ B.Sc (Engg.) in Electrical Engineering (4 year course)
- Computer Science/ IT Discipline – Full Time Regular B.E./ B.Tech/ B.Sc (Engg.) in Computer Science/ IT Engineering (4-year course)
- HR Discipline – Full Time Regular BA/ BBA/ B.Com (3-year course)
- Civil Discipline – Full Time Regular BE/ B.Tech/ B.Sc (Engg.) in Civil Engineering (4-year course)
- Finance Discipline – Full Time Regular BA/ BBA/ B.Com (3-year course)
Notes:
- Candidates who possess educational qualifications and passed (date of result of final examination) within two years from the closing date of application are eligible to apply
- Total tenure of apprenticeship training shall be one year from their date of joining.
Age limit: 28 years as on 8th February 2026.
Age Relaxation:
- Age relaxations to reserved category candidates shall be admissible as per Govt. of India guidelines.

Selection Process for Grid India Recruitment 2026:
- Applications will be shortlisted in merit order (discipline-wise) by the respective Regions based on the percentage of marks obtained in the prescribed qualification in descending order.
- Shortlisted candidates shall be called for Personal Interview and verification of documents in order of merit
- It is mandatory for candidates to appear in all aforementioned selection processes and also qualify in the Personal Interview in order to be considered eligible for final shortlisting
- The weightage assigned to different parameters in the Selection Process are below:
- Percentage of marks in the prescribed qualification – 85%
- Personal Interview – 15%
- Total – 100%
