HCL shares are listed at Mumbai, Delhi, Calcutta, Chennai, Ahmedabad exchanges. On 31 July 2015, the government of India announced a 15% stake sale in Hindustan Copper Limited, reducing its stake from 89.5% to 74.5%

Educational Qualification:
Mining
- Diploma in Mining with Five years of experience in the concerned field
- Foreman’s Certificate of Competency for Metalliferous Mines (Unrestricted) OR
- Bachelor Degree in Mining Engineering with 2 years of experience in the relevant field.
- Second-Class Manager’s Certificate of Competency for Metalliferous Mine (Unrestricted) or Foreman’s Certificate of Competency for Metalliferous Mines (Unrestricted).
Geology:
- Diploma in Draughtsman-ship in Mechanical or Civil trade with 5 years of experience in the relevant field. OR
- Post-Graduate Degree in Geology with 2 years of experience in the relevant field.
Survey:
- Diploma in Survey with 5 years’ experience in the relevant field with Mine Surveyor’s Certificate of competency OR
- Bachelor Degree in Mining Engineering/ Civil Engineering with Surveyor Certificate of Competency or Master Degree in (Geomatics with 2 years of experience in the relevant field.
Environment:
- Bachelor Degree in Environmental Engineering/ Technology with 2 years’ experience in the relevant field.
Electrical:
- Diploma in Electrical Engg. with 5 years’ experience in the relevant field. OR
- Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering with 2 years of experience in the relevant field.
Mechanical:
- Diploma in Mechanical Engg. with 5 years’ experience in the relevant field. OR
- Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering / Mining Machinery with 2 years of experience in the relevant field.
Civil:
- Diploma in Civil Engg. with 5 years’ experience in the relevant field. OR
- Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering with 2 years of experience in the relevant field
Mineral Processing:
- Bachelor Degree in Mineral Processing / Mineral Engineering with 2 years of experience in the relevant field.
Finance:
- Intermediate Examination of Institute of Chartered Accountants or Institute of Cost & Works Accountants with three years’ experience in the relevant field. OR
- PG Diploma in Finance/MBA in Finance with 2 years of experience in the relevant field
Human Resource:
- Graduate with 5 years’ experience in the relevant field. OR
- PG Degree in HR/PG Diploma in HR/MBA in HR with 2 years of experience in the relevant field
Admin:
- Graduate with 5 years’ experience in the relevant field. OR
- PG Degree in HR/PG Diploma in HR/MBA in HR with 2 years of experience in the relevant field
Law:
- Graduate with 5 years’ experience in the relevant field. OR
- LLB / 5 years’ integrated LLB with 2 years’ experience in the relevant field.
Materials & Contracts (M&C):
- Bachelor Degree in Arts/ Science/ Commerce/ Engineering with ‘Post-Graduate Degree/ Diploma in Materials Management/ Supply Chain Management / Logistics Management / Logistics & Supply Chain Management OR
- MBA with specialization in Materials Management / Supply Chain Management / Logistics Management / Logistics & Supply Chain Management’. AND 2 Years of experience in the relevant field.
Age Limit:
Candidates age must be maximum 40 years as on 01-11-2025. Age is relaxable by 3 years for OBC candidates and 5 years for SC/ST Candidates, 10 years for PWD Candidates.

Selection Process for Hindustan Copper Limited (HCL) Recruitment 2026:
- Selection of candidate/s for appointment to the post shall be based on the performance in the Written Test and shall be subject to verification of documents.
Written Examination:
- Details regarding Written Test, viz., Date of Written Test, Syllabus of the Examination, etc. shall be shared with the call letter for Written Test.
- Written Test Centers: The examination will be conducted online at various venues in different centres / cities across India.
- Qualifying Marks – The minimum qualifying marks out of aggregate marks prescribed in CBT for short-listing candidates for Document Verification shall be 30% for candidates belonging to General (Unreserved) / OBC categories and 20% for those belonging to SC / ST / PwD
categories.
