Eligibility Criteria for Indian Army Group C Recruitment 2025:

• Electrician (Highly Skilled-II): Pass in 10+2 with a certificate from a recognized Industrial Training Institute in the respective trade or grade.
• Electrician (Power) (Highly Skilled-l): Pass in 10+2 with a certificate from a recognized Industrial Training Institute in the respective trade or grade. Armed Forces Personnel or Ex-servicemen from the appropriate trade and minimum at grade I.
• Telecom Mechanic (Highly Skilled-II): Pass in 10+2 with a certificate from a recognized Industrial Training Institute in the respective trade or grade. OR Armed Forces Personnel or Ex-servicemen from the appropriate trade and minimum at grade I.
• Engineering Equipment Mechanic (Highly Skilled Grade -II): Pass in 10+2 with a certificate from a recognised Industrial Training Institute in the Motor Mechanic trade; OR B.Sc. with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics; orArmed Forces Personnel or Ex-servicamen from the appropriate trade and minimum at grede I.
• Welder (Skilled): ITI certificate from a recognized Industrial Training Institute in the respective trade or grade OR Armed Forces Personnel or Ex-servicemen from the appropriate trade and minimum at grade I.
• Storekeeper: Pass in 12th class from a recognized Board or University.
• Lower Division Clerk: Pass in 12th class from a recognized Board or University.
• Fireman: Matriculation pass or equivalent.
• Cook: Matriculation pass or equivalent.
• Tradesman Mate: Matriculation pass from recognized Board or equivalent.
• Washerman: Matriculation pass or equivalent from recognised Board.
• Vehićle Mechanic (Armoured Fighting Vehicle) (Highly Skilled-II): Pass in 10+2 with a certificate from a recognized Industrial Training Institute in the Motor Mechanic trade.
• Telephone Operator Grade-Il: Matriculation or its equivalent with compulsory subject.
• Machinist (Skilled): ITI certificate from a recognized Industrial Training Institute in the Machinist or Tumer or Mill Wright or precision Grinder.
• Fitter (Skilled): ITI certificate from a recognized Industrial Training Institute in the respective trade or grade
• Tin and Copper Smith (Skilled): ITI certificate from a recognized Industrial Training Institute in the respective trade or grade. OR Armed Forces Personnel or Ex-servicemen from the appropriate trade and minimum at grade I.

Training:  Selected candidates will be detailed for training at Indian Military Academy, Dehradun according to their position in the final order of merit (engineering streamwise) upto the number of available vacancies and subject to meeting all eligibility criteria. About 12 Months

Age Limit:

• Minimum Age Limit: 18 Years
• Maximum Age Limit: 25 YearsAge Relaxation
  • Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribes (SC/ST): 5 (Five) years of age concession admissible to Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribes.
  • Other Backward Class (OBC (Noncreamy layer)): 3 (three) years of age concession is admissible to Other Backward Class (Non-creamy layer)
  • Person with Benchmark Disability: Age relaxation of 10 years (15 years for SC/ST and 13 years for OВС candidates)

Cost of Training:  The entire cost of training at Indian Military Academy (IMA) Dehradun is at Government expense. In case the Gentleman Cadet is withdrawn from Training Academy due to reasons other than medical ground or the reasons not beyond his control, he will be liable to refund cost of training @ ₹ 16260/- per week as per Mod letter No 16(1)/2017-D(GS.II) dt 15 Mar 22, the annual increment is 8% and as notified from time to time (for the period of candidate ‘s stay at the IMA, Dehradun). The cost of training borne by State, will be recovered from candidates withdrawing for personal reasons

Selection Procedure for Indian Army Group C Recruitment 2025:

• Written test will be conducted for all Trades. The selection committee has discretion to fix minimum qualifying marks in any or all parts of papers.
• Skill test and Physical test (wherever applicable) will be conducted for candidates who pass the written test and come in merit.
• Skill test and Physical test (wherever applicable) will be qualifying in nature and the candidates who fail to qualify Skill/Physical test shall not be eligible for selection.
• There shall be no provision for re-evaluation and re-checking of the scores. No correspondence in this regard will be entertained. The decision of appointing authority regarding selection/ rejection will be final.
• Written test will be offine (Optical Mark Recognition (OMR) based) and “Objective Type” for 150 marks with Negative Marking of 0.25 mark for each wrong answer.
• Candidates should bring their pen, pencil and clipboard for Written Examination. Duration of examination is two hours.
• Question papèr for the posts of Fireman, Electrician (Highly Skilled-II), Electrician (Power) (Highly Skilled-I), Telecom Mechanic (Highly Skilled-I), Engineering Equipment Mechanic (Highly Skilled-I), Vehicle Mechanic (Armoured Fighting Vehicle) (Highly Skilled-II), Machinist (Skilled), Fitter (Skilled), Tin and Copper Smith (Skilled), Upholster (Skilled), Welder (Skilled)

Centre Allotment:  After shortlisting of applications, the centre allotment will be intimated to the candidate via their email.
