Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Software Engineer with expert-level experience in Jenkins, Python, and PowerShell scripting. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in creating and maintaining Jenkins freestyle projects, automating operational tasks, and working with version control systems like Git and SVN. Should have basic knowledge of AWS (like S3, EC2, EFS), Kubernetes , and working with both Linux and Windows systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage Jenkins freestyle projects .
- Hands-on experience with performing Jenkins and plugins upgrades.
- Develop automation scripts using Python and PowerShell to streamline automation tasks and system operations.
- Familiarity with Bash scripting will be considered an added advantage.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to integrate automation solutions into the deployment pipeline.
- Basic Cloud Knowledge: Familiarity with AWS services (S3, EC2, EFS).
- Basic Containerization Skills: Understanding Kubernetes components and use-cases.
- Maintain and manage version control repositories using Git and SVN .
- Perform basic troubleshooting and support across multi-platform systems.
- Operating Systems: Experience working with Linux and Windows environments.
- Strong problem-solving, debugging, and documentation skills.
