1. Tell us about yourself
Most of the time first question the interviewer is asking is “tell us about yourself / introduce yourselfâ€! This question is to analyse your confidence in presenting yourself.

2. What are your strengths & weaknesses?

- Make sure you do not start with your weak skill points
- Always start with the skills you have related to the job role you are attending
- And at the end add “ I am quick learnerâ€
When you have to communicate your weaknesses with your hiring manager, it is not recommended to say that you do not have any weakness.

- Do not tell about your strength & skill that you cannot justify in the interview

3. What are your hobbies?
You might think why the interviewer is interested in your hobbies, the main point for asking this question is to check your energy level and personality based on your hobbies you mention and employer evaluates how best you can fit for the organisation culture.
- Start with hobby which can be useful for the job role, like ravelling and meeting people if the job role is for marketing or meeting oriented
- General hobbies like sports and reading
- Do not share the hobbies which do not impress the interviewer ( like cards game, betting games)
4. What do you know about our company?
This is important questions being asked by the employer, from your answer interviewer will analyses how much you’re interested in the company.
- Do proper research about the company like its products, latest technology, founder, etc
5. What are the benefits of hiring you?
This is a tricky question asked by the employer, this question is about how you will show case yourself with the right skills and your convincing ability about the position they hiring you.
- Share your strengths and skills that are most relevant for the hiring job, but keep in mind that only most beneficial skills with brief intro.
- You can share your skill set with example like your academic projects ot internship work, etc.
- If the employer asked for details then you can elaborate scope, but do not take point which leads to another topic for asking questions
6. Why are you interested in this job in our company?
This is also a common interview question for fresher’s. The employer want to check your knowledge or research you have done about the company for this job.
- It is recommended to do your research about the company and about the job you’re attending for the interview.
7. How much salary do you expect from the company?
Talking about your first salary as a fresh graduate is exiting, but as a fresh graduate it is a difficult question.
- It is recommended to do your research about the salary packages for the job you’re attending.
- Do not ask for much higher or too less salary, sometime it leads to rejection.
- If you do not have idea what to ask, then the best common answer for this question is †as per industry standardsâ€
8. Do you have any questions for us?
If the interviewer ask this question, then it is understood that, they are no longer asking anymore questions to you. Perhaps they want to check your interest in the job.
- Most of the graduate’s say I do not have any questions, but it is not good ending of the interview.
- Make some points about this question before attending the interview.
- For example, about the job roles and responsibilities or any specific skill sets is required
- And do not ask about unnecessary questions like, working hours, break times, etc.
9. Thank You Note
Once the interviewer says you can leave for the day, don’t just walkout from the interview room if it is in person or logout from system if it is online interview. Just say some thank you note.
- And remember the interviewer names you have interacted with. Try to send a Thank you or appreciation mail in the next day.
