Eligibility Criteria for ISRO Recruitment 2025:
Scientist/ Engineer ‘SC’ (Electronics) – Post Code (BE001):
- BE/ B.Tech or equivalent in Electronics & Communication Engineering with an aggregate minimum of 65% marks or CGPA 6.84/10.
Scientist/Engineer ‘SC’ (Mechanical) – Post Code (BE002):
- BE/ B.Tech or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering with an aggregate minimum of 65% marks or CGPA 6.84/10.
Scientist/Engineer ‘SC’ (Computer Science) – Post Code (BE003):
- BE/ B.Tech or equivalent in Computer Science Engineering with an aggregate minimum of 65% marks or CGPA 6.84/10
Scientist/ Engineer ‘SC’ (Electronics) – PRL Post Code (BE001A):
- BE/ B.Tech or equivalent in Electronics & Communication Engineering with an aggregate minimum of 65% marks or CGPA 6.84/10

Age Limit: 28 years as on 16th June 2025
Age Relaxation: Serving Central Govt. employees, Ex-Servicemen; Persons with Benchmark Disabilities, are eligible for age relaxation as per Govt. of India orders.
Selection Procedure for ISRO Recruitment 2025:
- The selection process will be based on written test & interviews
- Written test will be conducted at eleven venues viz., Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Bhopal, Chennai, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, New Delhi and Thiruvananthapuram.
- However, ISRO reserves the right to cancel/change the written test venue and re-allot the candidates to any other test centre.
- The call letters for written test will be sent only to the registered e-mail ID of candidates
Pattern of the Question Paper for Written Test:
- Single objective type paper consisting of two parts, viz. Part ‘A’ and Part ‘B’, with a duration of 120 minutes (with compensation time as
applicable for PwBD candidates - Part ‘A’ – Area/Discipline Specific part – Consists of 80 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) of 1 mark each (+1 and -1/3 pattern of marking).
- Part ‘B’ – Aptitude/Ability Tests – Consists of maximum 15 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) totaling to 20 marks (No negative marks)
Interview:
- Based on performance in the written test, candidates will be short-listed for Interview in the ratio of 1:5, with an aggregate minimum of 10 candidates.
- For generation of the final panel, 50% weightage will be given to Written Test marks and 50% weightage to Interview marks
Qualifying Criteria:
- Unreserved candidates: Written Test – 50% each in Part A & B; Interview – 50/100 Marks; Aggregate – 60%
- Reserved candidates (PwBD only): Written Test – 40% each in Part A & B; Interview – 40/100 Marks; Aggregate – 50%
Application Fee:
- Rs. 750/- i.e refund in full for candidates who are exempted from payment of Application Fee (women, SC/ST/ PwBD, Ex-Servicemen).
- Rs. 500/- i.e after deducting the Application Fee in respect of all other candidates
Notes:
- There is a non-refundable Application Fee of Rs. 250/- for all the posts.
- However, initially all candidates have to uniformly pay Rs. 750/- per application as processing fee.
- The processing fee will be refunded only to those candidates who appear in the written test
Mode of Payment:
- The fee can be paid using any one of the following modes – Internet Banking/Unified Payment Interface (UPI)/Debit Cards (Domestic)/Credit Cards (Domestic)
- Refund of fee shall be made only to the bank account details as provided by the candidate in the application
