Eligibility Criteria for ISRO SHAR Recruitment 2025:
- Scientist/Engineer ‘SC’: ME/ M.Tech/ M.Sc (Engg) or equivalent post graduate degree in Machine Design with an aggregate minimum of 60% or CGPA/CPI grading of 6.5 on a 10 point scale with pre-eligibility qualification of BE/ B.Tech/ B.Sc (Engg) or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering with an aggregate minimum of 65% of marks (Average of all semesters) or CGPA/CPI grading of 6.84 on a 10 point scale
- Technical Assistant: First Class Diploma in Relevant Engineering from a recognised University/ Institution.
- Scientific Assistant: First Class B.Sc. with Chemistry as main subject from a recognised University/ Institution. First Class Bachelor of Fine Arts (Photography) / Visual Arts (Cinematography) from a recognised University /Institution.
- Library Assistant ‘A’: Graduation in First Class
- Radiographer-A: First class Diploma in Radiography course of not less than two years duration from a College/ Institution recognized by State/Central Government.
- Technician ‘B’: SSLC/SSC pass + ITI/NTC/NAC
- Draughtsman ‘B’: SSLC/SSC pass + ITI/NTC/ NAC in Draughtsman (Civil) Trade from NCVT
- Cook: Pass in SSLC/SSC/ Matric/1 0th Std.
- Firemen ‘A’: Pass in SSLC/SSC/ Matric/10th Std
- Light Vehicle Driver ‘A’: Pass in SSLC/ SSC/ Matric/ 10 th Std.
- Nurse-B: First Class Diploma in Nursing course of not less than three years duration recognised by State/Central Government (Nursing qualification should be registered with respective State Nursing Council)

Selection Procedure for ISRO SHAR Recruitment 2025:
- Selection process for Scientist/Engineer ‘SC’ :
- The mode of selection will be Written Test and Interview.
- The Written Test will be conducted in such a way that theoretical and practical knowledge of the candidate is tested covering both the breadth and depth of the prescribed curriculum.
- Based on the performance in the Written Test, candidates will be shortlisted for Interview, generally in 1:5 ratio with a minimum of 10 candidates to the category-wise number of vacancies.
- For selection 50% weightage shall be given to written test marks and 50% weightage to interview marks.
Selection process for Technical Assistant/Scientific Assistant/Library Assistant ‘A’/ Technician –B/ Draughtsman-B
- The Written Test will be conducted in such a way that theoretical and practical knowledge of the candidate is tested covering both breadth and depth of the prescribed curriculum.
Shortlisting for Skill Test:
- Based on the performance in the Written Test, candidates will be shortlisted for Skill Test categorywise in 1:5 ratio with minimum of 10 candidates. The candidates shall be called in batches for Skill Test, as per the evaluation result v/s vacancies
Selection process for Nurse ‘B’, Radiographer-A& Cook:
- The Written Test will be conducted in such a way that theoretical and practical knowledge of the candidate is tested covering both the breadth and depth of the prescribed curriculum.
- Based on marks scored in the Written Test, candidates will be short-listed for Skill Test.
- The Skill Test will be purely on ‘go-no-go’ basis and marks obtained in Skill Test will not be considered for selection.
- The final selection will be based on the marks obtained in the Written Test, from amongst the candidates who qualify in the Skill Test.
- Empanelment shall be done in the order of marks obtained in the Written Test, subject to number of vacancies notified. In case, of a tie in the Written Test scores, the academic scores of the essential qualification prescribed will be the tiebreaker.
Selection process for Fireman ‘A’:
- The mode of Selection will be Written Test, Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Detailed Medical Examination (DME).
- The Physical Efficiency Test will be purely on ‘go-no-go’ basis and marks obtained in Physical Efficiency Test will not be considered for selection. The final selection shall be based on the marks obtained in the Written Test.
- Empanelment shall be done in the order of marks obtained in the Written Test, from among the candidates who have qualified PET and Detailed Medical Examination (DME).
- In the event of a tie in Written Test marks, the inter-se merit of candidates will be decided based the academic scores of the essential qualification prescribed
Selection process for Light Vehicle Driver ‘A’
- The mode of Selection will be Written Test and Skill Test.. The Skill Test will be purely on ‘go-no-go’ basis and marks obtained in Skill Test will not be considered for selection

- The webpage for on-line registration will be hosted in SDSC SHAR website from 16.10.2025 (1000 hours) to 14.11.2025 (1700 hours).
- Eligible and interested candidates may visit our website at https://www.shar.gov.in(or) https://www.apps.shar.gov.in and register their applications on-line within the above-said time-frame.
- On submission of online application, applicants will be provided a Registration Number, which will be useful for future reference. E-mail ID and Mobile Number of the applicant are to be furnished in the application correctly and compulsorily
- Application has to be necessarily submitted within the due date (14.11.2025) including payment.
