Eligibility Criteria For NHPC JE Recruitment 2025:

Assistant Rajbhasha Officer:

Master’s degree from a recognized Indian University in Hindi with English as an elective subject at the degree level or Master’s degree from a recognized Indian University in English with Hindi as an elective subject at the degree level.
Experience: 3 years

Junior Engineer (Civil) / S1:

Full time three years regular Diploma in Civil Engineering from Government / Government recognized Institutes with minimum 60% marks or equivalent grade for General/OBC/EWS and 50% marks or equivalent grade for SC/ST/PwBD.

Junior Engineer (Electrical) / S1:

Full time three years regular Diploma in Electrical Engineering from Government / Government recognized Institutes with minimum 60% marks or equivalent grade for General/OBC/EWS and 50% marks or equivalent grade for SC/ST/PwBD.
Electrical Discipline includes Electrical/Electrical & Electronics / Electrical (Power)/Power Systems / Power Engineering.

Junior Engineer (Mechanical) / S1:

Full time three years regular Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from Government / Government recognized Institutes with minimum 60% marks or equivalent grade for General/OBC/EWS and 50% marks or equivalent grade for SC/ST/PwBD.
Mechanical Discipline includes Mechanical / Production / Automation Engineering.

Junior Engineer (Electronics & Communication) / S1:

Full time three years regular Diploma in Electronics & Communication Engineering from Government / Government recognized Institutes with minimum 60% marks or equivalent grade for General/OBC/EWS and 50% marks or equivalent grade for SC/ST/PwBD.
Electronics & Communication Discipline includes Electronics & Communication/Electronics/ Electronics & Tele-communication/Electronics & Power / Power Electronics/Electronics & Instrumentation/ Instrumentation & Control.

Supervisor (IT) / S1:

Graduate with DOEACC ‘A’ level course from Government / Government recognized Institutes with minimum 60% marks or equivalent grade OR
Three years polytechnic Diploma in Computer Science/ IT from Government / Government recognized Institutes with minimum 60% marks or equivalent grade. OR
BCA / Bsc (Computer Science / IT) from Government / Government recognized Institutes with minimum 60% marks or equivalent grade.

Sr. Accountant / S1: Inter CA pass or Inter CMA pass candidates.
Hindi Translator / W06:

Master’s degree from a recognized Indian university in Hindi with English as an elective subject at the Degree level or Master’s Degree from a recognized Indian university in English with Hindi as an elective subject at the degree level. Pass candidates are eligible to apply.

Selection process for NHPC JE Recruitment 2025:

Selection involves a Computer-Based Test (CBT) and/or Written Test.
Minimum qualifying marks:
General/OBC/EWS: 40% of total marks
SC/ST/PwBD: 35% of total marks
Based on merit of Online Test, the provisionally selected candidates shall be called for Document
Verification (DV) at Corporate Office, Faridabad.
In this process, all the requisite documents will be verified against original marksheet / certificates.
Further, at the time of DV biometric authentication of the shortlisted candidates will also be done.
On successful completion of DV, the final selected candidates will be given provisional “Offer of Appointment”

The scheme of examination for NHPC recruitment is as follows:

Medium of Examination: English and Hindi
Duration: 3 hours (180 minutes)
Total Marks: 200

For Junior Engineer (Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, E&C), Supervisor (IT), and Sr. Accountant:

Part I: 140 MCQs related to the respective discipline
Part II: 30 MCQs on General Awareness
Part III: 30 MCQs on Reasoning

For Assistant Rajbhasha Officer and Hindi Translator:

Part I: 40 MCQs (1 mark each) and 10 descriptive questions (10 marks each) related to the discipline
Part II: 30 MCQs on General Awareness
Part III: 30 MCQs on Reasoning

Marking:

For every correct answer of MCQ, one mark shall be awarded.
For every wrong answer of MCQ attempted by the candidates, negative marking of ¼ marks i.e. 0.25 marks shall be deducted.
No marks will be awarded/deducted for unattempted questions.

Application Fee:

General/EWS/OBC category: Rs. 600/- plus applicable Taxes (i.e. Rs. 708/-)
The SC/ST/PwBD/Women/Ex. Servicemen/Women category candidates need not pay the registration fee

Payment Fee: The application fee should be paid online.
