NIACL AO Recruitment 2025: The New India Assurance Co. Ltd. (NIACL) is an Indian public sector insurance company owned by the Government of India and administered by the Ministry of Finance. Headquartered in Mumbai, it is the largest nationalized general insurance company of India based on gross premium collection inclusive of foreign operations. It was founded by Sir Dorabji Tata in 1919, and was nationalized in 1973.

Eligibility Criteria for NIACL AO Recruitment 2025:

1. Generalists:

A candidate must possess a graduate or post-graduate degree in any discipline from a recognized university or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government.
Minimum marks: At least 60% marks in either of the degree examinations (minimum 55% for SC/ST/PwBD candidates).

2. Specialists:

Risk Engineers: Engineering (Graduation or Post-graduation) in any discipline with minimum 60% (55% for SC/ST/PwBD)
Automobile Engineers: BE/ B.Tech/ ME/ M.Tech in Automobile Engineering with min 60% (55% for SC/ST/PwBD) OR Graduate in any branch of Engineering with min 60% (55% for SC/ST/PwBD) plus a Diploma (minimum 1 year) in Automobile Engineering
Legal Specialists: Graduate/ Post-graduate Degree in Law with minimum 60% (55% for SC/ST/PwBD)
Accounts Specialists: Chartered Accountant (ICAI) or Cost and Management Accountant (The Institute of Cost Accountants of India, formerly ICWAI) AND Graduate/Post Graduate in any discipline with minimum 60% (55% for SC/ST/PwBD) OR MBA (Finance)/PGDM (Finance)/ M.Com with minimum 60% (55% for SC/ST/PwBD)
AO (Health): M.B.B.S/ M.D/ M.S or PG-Medical Degree OR BDS/ MDS OR BAMS/ BHMS (graduate or postgraduate) from recognized University with at least 60% (55% for SC/ST/PwBD); or equivalent foreign degrees as recognized by the Medical/Dental Council of India or National Commissions. Candidates must hold valid registration from the relevant Medical or Dental Council.
IT Specialists: BE/ B.Tech/ ME/ M.Tech in IT or Computer Science OR MCA with minimum 60% (55% for SC/ST/PwBD)
Business Analysts: Bachelors or Masters degree in Statistics/ Mathematics/ Actuarial Science/ Data Science/ Business Analysts from recognized University with minimum 60% (55% for SC/ST/PwBD)
Company Secretary: ACS/ FCS from ICSI AND Graduation/Post-graduation in any discipline with minimum 60% (55% for SC/ST/PwBD)
Actuarial Specialists: Graduation/Post-graduation in any discipline with minimum 60% (55% for SC/ST/PwBD) AND Cleared minimum four Actuarial papers from IAI or IFoA, necessarily including CM1 and not including CB3, and be an active member of IAI or IFo

Age Limit:

Minimum 21 and maximum 30 years as on 01-08-2025
Born not earlier than 02-08-1995 and not later than 01-08-2004, both dates inclusive
Age relaxation applicable as per government rules.

Selection Process for NIACL AO Recruitment 2025:

Phase-I: Preliminary Exam (Online Objective, 100 marks)

English Language, Reasoning Ability, Quantitative Aptitude
60 minutes total, section-wise timings

Phase-II: Main Exam

Generalists: English Language, Reasoning, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude (All Objective)
Specialists: Above + Technical/Professional Knowledge section
Objective Test (200 marks), Descriptive Test (English: Letter/Eassy, 30 marks, 30 mins)

Phase-III: Interview
