Eligibility Criteria for Nirma Recruitment 2026:
- BE/ B.Tech – Mechanical, Chemical; Diploma – Industrial Safety; B.Sc – Chemistry, Industrial chemistry
- Added advantage: Preferably from manufacturing Industry of Major Hazards as well as Heavy Chemical.

- Excellent knowledge of OHSAS.
- Certified safety experience
- Knowledge of safety principles and procedures
- Immense knowledge of safety and hazards
- Tremendous ability to identify, evaluate and resolve safety problems
- Ability to implement methods to resolve critical safety problems
- Reduction in production cost, inspection cost, reduction in delivery cost and staff training, supervision and monitoring.
- Thorough knowledge of HIRA (Hazard identification and Risk assessment)., HAZOP, PHA & JSA
Job Description:
- Safety Training e.g. safety awareness training, fire training, electrical safety.
- Accident / Incident Investigation & Reporting of all First Aid/ Minor/Major/ Near Miss/ Fire
- Examining of the Lift, pressure vessel & Lifting tools tackles for Statutory Requirement As per GFR 1963 & PESO requirement
- Proper implementation of SHE work permit system & Audit.
- Conducting Mock Drill cum Evacuation Drills Monthly EHS meeting & Fire & Safety Audit etc.
- Assist in the development and implementation of EHS policies, procedures, and programs
- Ensure compliance with all applicable environmental, health, and safety regulations
- Develop and deliver EHS training programs for employees
- Conduct risk assessments and identify potential hazards
- Implement measures to mitigate risks and improve overall safety
- Develop and deliver EHS training programs for workforce
- Promote awareness and understanding of EHS practices and principles
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses to determine root causes
- Prepare reports and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with EHS regulations
- Maintain records of EHS activities and compliance status
- Develop and implement emergency response plans
- Conduct drills and ensure readiness for potential emergencies
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to EHS
