Eligibility Criteria For NPCIL Recruitment 2026:

Educational Qualification:

Scientific Assistant/B (Civil):

Diploma with not less than 60% marks in Civil Engineering recognized by the Government of India, Ministry of Human Resource Development. The diploma in Engineering should be of 03 years duration after SSC/HSC.

Stipendiary Trainee/ Scientific Assistant (ST/SA) (Category-I):

Diploma in Engineering with not less than 60% marks in relevant discipline recognized by Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India; the diploma Holders in Engineering should be of Three years duration after SSC/Matriculation/HSC(10+2)
Diploma in Mechanical, Automobile, Production, Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation Engineering

Stipendiary Trainee/Scientific Assistant (ST/SA) (Category-I): (Health Physics)

B.Sc. with a minimum of 60% marks. B.Sc. shall be with Physics as principal and Chemistry / Mathematics / Statistics / Electronics & Computer Science (CS) as subsidiary

Stipendiary Trainee/Technician (ST/TN) (Category-II):

SSC (10th) with minimum 50% marks in Science subject(s) and Mathematics individually + 2 years ITI certificate in relevant trade.

Category-II Stipendiary Trainee(ST/TN) Operator :

HSC (10+2) or ISC in Science stream (with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects) with minimum 50% marks in aggregate.
Shall have English as one of the subjects at least at SSC level examination

X-Ray Technician (Technician/C):

HSC (10+2) with minimum 60% marks in Science + 1 year Medical Radiography/ X-Ray Technique Trade Certificate
Minimum 02 years relevant post qualification full time work experience.

Assistant Gr.1 (HR/F&A/C&MM):

Any Bachelor’s Degree with minimum 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized University/Institution

Age Limit: 18 to 30 Years as on 4th February 2026

Salary Details:

Scientific Assistant/B: Level 6 Rs. 35,400/- PM
Stipendiary Trainee/Scientific Assistant (ST/SA-Cat-I): Level 6 Rs. 35,400/- PM
Stipendiary Trainee/Technician (ST/TN-Cat-II): Level 3 Rs. 21,700/- PM
X-Ray Technician (Technician/C): Level 4 Rs. 25,500/- PM
Assistant Gr.1 (HR)/(F&A)/(C&MM): Level 4 Rs. 25,500/- PM

Selection Process For NPCIL Recruitment 2026:

Selection Process Type 1:

Stage I – Online Test
Stage II – Personal Interview

Selection Process Type 2:

Stage I – Preliminary Test
Stage II – Advanced Test

Application Fee:

For Group B Posts: Rs. 150/-
For Group C Posts: Rs. 100/-
SC, ST, PwBD, Ex-serviceman, DODPKIA, Female applicants and employees of NPCIL are exempted from the payment of Application Fee.
