To acquire, establish, operate, maintain, renovate, modernize in the State of Odisha and else while hydro electric generating stations, thermal and nuclear electric generating stations and any other electric generating stations based on any non-conventional sources of energy.

Eligibility Criteria for OHPC Recruitment 2025:
Educational Qualification:
- Electrical: Full-time Degree in Electrical Engineering/Electrical & Electronics Engineering from a recognized University/Institution, approved by AICTE with a minimum of 60 % marks in aggregate or AMIE in Electrical Engineering with a minimum of 50 % marks in aggregate
- Civil: Full-time Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized University/Institution, approved by AICTE with a minimum of 60 % marks in aggregate or AMIE in Civil Engineering with a minimum of 50 % marks in aggregate.
- Mechanical: Full-time Degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized University/Institution, approved by AICTE with a minimum of 60 % marks in aggregate or AMIE in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 50 % marks in aggregate.
- Instrumentation & Control: Full-time Degree in Instrumentation & Control Engineering from a recognized University/Institution, approved by AICTE with a minimum of 60 % marks in aggregate or PG Diploma in Instrumentation & Control Engineering with a minimum of 50 % marks in aggregate.
Age Limit: 21 – 32 years as on 01-May-2025
Selection Process for OHPC Recruitment 2025:
- Candidates shall be shortlisted out of the candidates who applied on the basis of their GATE score-2025 (Marks out of 100) only.
- There will be no Personal Interview.
- A GATE score of 2024 or prior is not valid.
- The shortlisted candidates will be called for document verification.
- The list of eligible shortlisted candidates for Document verification will be uploaded to the website of OHPC.
- The call letter will be sent to the Email ID of the shortlisted candidates.
- No separate correspondence will be entertained in this regard.
Application Fees:
- Rs 750/- (not applicable for SC, ST, and PWD) drawn in favour of ODISHA HYDRO POWER CORPORATION LTD., payable at Bhubaneswar.
- Candidates belonging to the Scheduled Caste (SC) / Scheduled Tribe (ST) of Odisha only, PWD candidates (whose disability is not less than 40%) are exempted from payment of the application fee.
