Eligibility Criteria for RITES Recruitment 2026:

Educational Qualification:

Candidates must possess Full time Bachelor’s Degree in relevant Engineering/ Technology discipline from a recognized university/board to apply for RITES Ltd Assistant Manager positions.

Civil: Full-time Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering

Electrical: Full time Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/ Electronics / Power Supply/ Instrumentation and Control/ Industrial Electronics/ Electronics & Instrumentation/ Applied Electronics/ Digital Electronics/ Power Electronics Engineering or any of the above combination in part or wholes

Signal & Telecommunication (S&T): Full time Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/ Electronics/ Power Supply/ Instrumentation and Control/ Industrial Electronics/ Electronics & Instrumentation/ Applied Electronics/ Digital Electronics/ Power Electronics Engineering or any of the above combination in part or wholes

Mechanical: Full time Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering/ Technology in Mechanical/ Production/ Production & Industrial/ Manufacturing/ Mechanical/ Rail ways/ Mechatronics & Automobile or any of the above combination in part or whole

Metallurgy: Full time Bachelor’s Degree in Metallurgy Engineering

Age Limit:

• Maximum Age: 40 years
• Age Relaxation: As per government norms (SC/ ST/ OBC/ PwD/ Ex-Servicemen)
• Age calculation date: as on 25-12-2025

Selection Process for RITES Recruitment 2026:

• The selection process will be based Written Test and an Interview
• The weightage distribution of various parameters of the selection shall be as follows:
  • Written Exam – 60%
  • Interview – 40% (Technical & Professional proficiency – 30; Personality Communication & Competency – 10%)
  • Total – 100%

Written Test:

• There will be 125 objective type questions carrying one mark each for a duration of 2.5 Hours
• There will be no negative marking system
• A minimum of 50% marks for UR/ EWS (45% for SC/ST/OBC (NCL)/PwBD against reserved posts) in written test will be required to enable the candidate to be considered for further consideration.

Interview

• Candidates will be called for interview in the ratio of 1:6 to the number of vacancies.
• A minimum of 60% marks for UR/ EWS (50% for SC/ST/OBC (NCL)/ PWD against reserved posts) in interview will be required to enable the candidate to be considered for placement on panel, which would be based upon the overall merit order.
• Candidates have the option to appear for the selection process either in Hindi or English.

Venue:

• • Written Test: Delhi/ Gurugram/ Mumbai/ Bengaluru/ Kolkata/ Bhubaneswar /Hyderabad/ Bhilai/ Chennai/ Patna/ Lucknow
  • Interview: Venue for the Interview will be intimated later
