Eligibility Criteria for TCS Atlas Hiring 2026:
- Highest Qualification: Candidates pursuing 2 years full-time Master of Science (M.Sc.) or Master of Arts (M.A.) program with specializations in Mathematics, Statistics, or Economics from a recognised university or college, and belonging to the batch of 2026, will be considered.
- Graduation Background: Any graduate degree from a recognized University/College would be considered as eligible.
- Academic Percentage: Candidates should have a minimum aggregate (All subjects in all semesters) of 60% or equivalent CGPA in class 10th, 12th, Diploma (if applicable), Graduation and Post-Graduation examination.
- Backlogs/ Arrears/ ATKT: Candidate having up to one backlog may appear for the selection process. However, it is mandatory that the course is completed within the stipulated time duration without any backlogs at the time of joining TCS, if selected.
- Extended Education: Extended education would not be considered as eligible.
- Gap/ Break in Education: It is mandatory to declare gaps in education, if any. Overall academic gap should not exceed 24 months until the highest qualification. Relevant documentation, as applicable, will be checked for gaps in education.
- Course Types: Only full-time courses will be considered (part-time/correspondence courses will not be considered).
- Open Schooling: Candidates who have completed their Secondary and/or Senior Secondary course from NIOS (National Institute of Open Schooling) are also eligible to apply if the Graduation and Post-graduation (if applicable) courses are done full-time.
- Work Experience: Candidates with prior work experience (part-time/full-time) of only up to 2 years are eligible to apply for the TCS Atlas Hiring Process. It is mandatory for Candidates to declare the same in the TCS Application Form. Candidates would be required to submit the necessary documents supporting this work experience at the time of TCS selection process and/or post joining TCS, as per requirements.
- Age: Minimum age – 18 years and maximum age – 28 years.
Selection Process for TCS Atlas Hiring 2026:
Test Pattern:
Test provider: TCS iON is the test provider for TCS Atlas Hiring process.
The duration of the Assessment is 115 mins and is split into 5 sections mentioned below:
- Statistics
- Mathematics
- Economics
- Programming
- Verbal Ability
Notes:
- You must have all your original academic documents till date, to be submitted at the time of the Interview (if test shortlisted).
- Communication related to the test will be informed to you by TCS iON – our test partner.

How to Apply for TCS Atlas Hiring 2026?
Interested candidates can apply online through the TCS NextStep Portal on or before 1st February 2026.
Steps to Apply:
- Step 1: Log in to the TCS NextStep Portal
- Step 2: Register and Apply for the Drive
- Scenario A: If you are a registered user under the TCS NextStep Portal, ‘IT’ category, kindly log in with your TCS Reference ID (CT/DT reference number) and proceed to complete the application form. Upon submission, kindly click on ‘Apply For Drive’.
- Scenario B: If you are a new user, kindly click on Register Now, choose the category “IT” and proceed to fill in your details. Submit your application form and click on “Apply For Drive”.
- Step 3: Select your mode of test (In-Centre) and choose your preferred test center & then click on Apply.
- Step 4: To confirm your status, check ‘Track Your Application’. The status should reflect as “Applied for Drive”.
