Eligibility Criteria
Eligibility is different for each post. Candidates are advised to read the official notification before applying.
1) College Librarian (4 Posts)
- Master’s Degree in Library Science / Information Science / Documentation Science with minimum 55% marks.
- Must have cleared UGC NET / CSIR / SET / SLET OR Ph.D. as per UGC norms.
- Desirable: M.A Sanskrit, Hindi/English knowledge, manuscripts/epigraphy knowledge.
- Age: As per UGC norms.
2) Section Officer (1 Post)
- Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline.
- Experience required as per notification (Assistant/UDC level service).
- Computer knowledge + noting & drafting required.
- Maximum Age: 35 Years
3) Assistant (15 Posts)
- Bachelor’s Degree from recognized university.
- Experience required (as UDC level service).
- Computer skills, typing, noting & drafting required.
- Maximum Age: 35 Years
4) Professional Assistant (1 Post)
- Master’s Degree in Library & Information Science + 2 years experience OR
- Bachelor’s Degree in Library Science + 3 years experience.
- Computer knowledge required.
- Maximum Age: 35 Years
5) UDC (6 Posts)
- Bachelor’s Degree from recognized university.
- 2 years experience as LDC in Govt/University/PSU etc.
- Typing speed: English 35 wpm OR Hindi 30 wpm.
- Maximum Age: 32 Years
6) LDC (16 Posts)
- Bachelor’s Degree from recognized university.
- Typing speed: English 35 wpm OR Hindi 30 wpm.
