Eligibility Criteria for IBPS Clerk Recruitment 2025:
Customer Service Associates (Clerk):
- A Degree (Graduation) in any discipline from a University recognised by the Govt. Of India or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government.
- Computer Literacy: Operating and working knowledge in computer systems is mandatory, i.e. candidates should have a Certificate/Diploma/Degree in computer operations/Language/ should have studied Computer / Information Technology as one of the subjects in the High School/College/Institute.
- The candidates applying for vacancies of a particular State/UT, should be proficient in (reading, writing, speaking and understanding) the specified/opted local language of that State/UT
Age Limit:
- Minimum: 20 years and Maximum: 28 years as on 1st August 2025
- A candidate must have been born not earlier than 02-08-1997 and not later than 01-08-2005 (both dates inclusive)
Age Relaxation:

- 5 Years for SC/ST
- 3 Years for OBC
- 10 Years for PWD category
- Ex-Servicemen / Disabled Ex-Servicemen – actual period of service rendered in the defence forces + 3 years (8 years for Disabled Ex-Servicemen belonging to SC/ST) subject to a maximum limit of 50 years
- Widows, divorced women and women legally separated from their husbands who have not remarried – Age concession upto the age of 35 years for General/EWS, 38 years for OBC and 40 years for SC/ST candidates

Selection Process for IBPS Clerk Recruitment 2025:
- IBPS Clerk selection process is based on Preliminary Examination and Main Examination.
- Marks obtained in the online main examination only will be considered for final merit listing.
Preliminary Examination (Objective Test):

- Candidates have to qualify in each of the three tests by securing cut-off marks to be decided by IBPS.
- Adequate number of candidates in each category as decided by IBPS depending upon requirements will be shortlisted for Online Main examination..
Main Examination (Objective Test):

- At the time of Main Exam: Candidates must bring duly authenticated Online Preliminary Exam call letter (with authenticated copy of ID proof) as well as Main Exam call letter. These documents along-with other requisite documents must be submitted during the Main Exam.
- Cut-off Score (Online Main examination): Each candidate will be required to obtain a minimum score in each test of Online Main Examination and also a minimum total score to be considered for further process.

Penalty for Wrong Answers (Applicable to both – Preliminary & Main Examination)
- There will be a penalty for wrong answers marked in the Objective Tests.
- For each question for which a wrong answer has been given by the candidate one fourth or 0.25 of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted as penalty to arrive at corrected score.
- If a question is left blank, i.e. the candidate marks no answer, there will be no penalty for that question.
Note: Any change in the structure of the examination will be intimated through authorised IBPS website

- For all others: Rs. 850/-
