In the year 1991, WESTERN diversified from trading to the fast growing Beverage Dispensing and Commercial Refrigeration equipment industry.

Western was the 1st manufacturer in India for Visi-coolers and has since become one of the largest manufacturers of commercial refrigeration equipment in India. Western in 2014 set up a new Greenfield facility in Sanjan, Gujarat which is the largest plant of its kind in South-east Asia with an installed capacity of over 1,000 units per day. Western today has a cumulative capacity of 360,000 units per annum and export to 45 countries spread over Asia, Indian Subcontinent and Africa
