Eligibility Criteria for SBI CBO Recruitment 2026:
Educational Qualification:
- Graduation in any discipline from a recognised University or equivalent qualification recognised by the Central Government.
Experience Requirement
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as on 31.12.2025 as an Officer in:
- Any Scheduled Commercial Bank, or
- Any Regional Rural Bank (RRB) listed in the Second Schedule of RBI.
Local Language Proficiency
- Candidates must be proficient (reading, writing, understanding) in one of the specified local languages of the applied Circle.
- Candidates who studied the local language in 10th or 12th standard are exempted from the language test.
Age Limit:
- Minimum Age: 21 years (born not later than 31.12.2004)
- Maximum Age: 30 years (born not earlier than 01.01.1996)

Selection Process for SBI CBO Recruitment 2026:
Phase 1 – Online Examination
- Objective Test: 120 Marks (2 Hours)
- English Language – 30 Marks (30 mins)
- Banking Knowledge – 40 Marks (40 mins)
- General Awareness / Economy – 30 Marks (30 mins)
- Computer Aptitude – 20 Marks (20 mins)
- Descriptive Test: 50 Marks (30 mins)
- Letter Writing & Essay (English Language)
Phase 2 – Screening
- Screening committee will verify:

- Job profile relevance
- Candidates up to 3 times the vacancies (circle & category-wise) will be shortlisted for interview.
Phase 3 – Interview
- Total Marks: 50
- Minimum qualifying marks are required for final selection.
Phase 4 – Local Language Proficiency Test
- Conducted before joining.
- Candidates with 10th/12th language proof are exempted.
