NEEPCO Recruitment 2025: NEEPCO has been a trusted power generation company in the North Eastern region of India and beyond since 1976, working closely with the Ministry of Power and the north eastern states to act in their best interest in tapping the enormous power potential of the region and the country.

Incorporated in 1976 to plan, investigate, design, construct, generate, operate & maintain power stations in the North Eastern Region of India under the Ministry of Power, Government of India, NEEPCO is conferred with the Schedule A- Miniratna Category-I CPSE status and operates 7 hydro, 3 thermal and 1 solar power stations with a combined installed capacity of 1757 MW. NEEPCO has one power project under development which is 600 MW Kameng HEP which is scheduled for commissioning within the financial year 2019-20.

Eligibility Criteria for NEEPCO Recruitment 2025:
Electrical/ Mechanical:
- Full-time Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology/ AMIE in Electrical Engineering/ Electrical & Electronics Engineering/ Mechanical Engineering/ Mechanical & Automation Engineering from a recognised Institute or University with not less than 65% marks as per respective institute/ University norms (55% marks for SC/ ST candidates).
- Candidates must have appeared and qualified in the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) in 2025, in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
Civil:
- Full-time Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology/ AMIE in Civil Engineering from a recognised Institute or University with not less than 65% marks as per respective institute/University norms (55% marks for SC/ ST /PwBD candidates).
- Candidates must have appeared and qualified in the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) in 2025, Civil Engineering.
IT:
- Full-time Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology/ AMIE in Computer Science/ Computer Engg / IT from a recognised Institute or University with not less than 65% marks as per respective institute/ University norms (55% marks for SC candidates).
- Candidates must have appeared and qualified in the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) in 2025 for Computer Science and Information Technology (CS).
Duration: Minimum period of 5 (five) years, including the period spent on training, if the appointment is regularised.
Age Limit: Candidates upper age limit between 33 to 35 years as on 01-07-2025. Age is relaxable for reserved category candidates.
Selection Process for NEEPCO Recruitment 2025:
- The shortlisting of candidates for appointment will be exclusively based on the marks obtained in GATE 2025
- Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria , including the minimum percentage requirement in their bachelor’s degree, will be considered for the preparation of a merit list solely on the basis of their GATE 2025 Scores
- No Separate Group Discussion or Personal Interview will be conducted.
